Have you gotten a chance to watch Tinker Bell yet? It’s a very cute Disney movie centered around everyone’s favorite Never-Never-Land fairy.

Tinker Bell is the first in the Disney Fairy Direct-To-Video line and introduces us to several fairy characters to follow. Tinker Bell lives in the land of Pixie Hollow, where all of the fairies are divided up based on their specialities. There are tinkerers, a talent dust fairy (keeper of the magical pixie dust), water fairies, garden fairies and light-talent fairies. But when Tinker Bell arrives she doesn’t like her fairy job as a tinker, and she sets off to change who she is!

Unlike most of the Disney movies, there’s no real bad guy in Tinker Bell. We meet Vidia who picks on Tinker Bell, but truly it’s just the fairy against herself as she destroys preparations for spring. And there’s also no big musical numbers with all the characters! But who says every movie needs to follow the Disney formula?

What we do get is an introduction to the other fairies, sure to be seen in the upcoming sequels. We meet Silvermist (Lucy Liu), Rosetta (Kristin Chenoweth), Fawn (America Ferrera) and Iridessa (Raven-Symone). And the animation is stunningly beautiful.
