Vice is throwing a 15th anniversary bash this Thursday that has a pretty great lineup: Bad Brains, The Jesus Lizard, Dave 1 from Chromeo, Peanut Butter Wolf, Nick Catchdubs, Rub-N-Tug, Blu Jemz, and Titus Andronicus & Children. The Knitting Factory had been a fixture of downtown New York for decades until it closed last year. After much delay, it is finally reopening in Brooklyn, at 361 Metropolitan Ave. in Williamsburg to be exact.
To celebrate their grand opening tomorrow (Wednesday September 9), Les Savy Fav will be playing. It’s all sold out (probably to industry insiders), but the bar will still be open to the public.
