‘Today’ Opens Wedding Contest To Same-Sex Couples
Just a few days after gay rights groups spoke out against NBC’s Today Show’s decision to only allow heterosexual couples to participate in its wedding contest, the morning show has decided to open up the contest to same-sex couples as well.

Poll: Should Gay Couples Be Able To Get Married On The ‘Today Show’?
Gay rights activist groups like GLAAD are protesting the Today Show’s wedding contest, asking supporters to push NBC to open up the contest to homosexual couples as well as straight ones.
NBC claims the contest, which has a “modern wedding” theme due to its use of Facebook, is only open to straight couples because homosexual couples are not able to legally get married in New York. GLAAD says it’s no problem: New York recognizes gay unions made legally in other states,… More »
