We don’t expect any of that on Just Desserts. Unveiling the show’s judges today, Bravo named pastry chef Johnny Iuzzini, currently working at Jean Georges, head judge. He’ll be joined by fellow judges Hubert Keller and DailyCandy’s Dannielle Kyrillos. Gail Simmons, a judge on Top Chef and Top Chef Masters will host.

'Top Chef' Gets Ready To Show Love For Desserts

Welcome to Crush This, your weekly guide to what’s new in movies, music and TV. We’ve navigated the inner reaches of our entertainment-obsessed brains in search of all the pop culture landscape has to offer. This week, we recommend that you branch out and check out the latest new music fixes: both Drake and Sarah McLachlan are putting out albums this week.

Movies: If you’ve already gotten your fix of The A-Team and Karate Kid, this week you can check out Josh Brolin and Megan Fox in Western action flick Jonah Hex or satisfy your inner child with Toy Story 3. For more indie fare, you might prefer Cyrus, with John C. Reilly and Jonah Hill.

Television: Ready for more new summer shows? Hot in Cleveland, featuring Betty White, premieres Wednesday night on TV Land, Bravo’s new reality show featuring celebrity photographers Markus Klinko and Indrani, Double Exposure debuts on Tuesday, and ABC has an all new Sunday night with Scoundrels and The Gates. Also on Sunday, The Real L Word on Showtime.

There are also plenty of returning series debuting new seasons this week, including Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List on Tuesday and Top Chef: Washington, D.C. on Wednesday on Bravo, and Leverage on TNT on Sunday. And if you’re a Jonas Brothers fan, don’t miss the season premiere of their newly named show, Jonas L.A. on Sunday on the Disney Channel.

Music: Canadian rapper Drake’s debut album Thank Me Later is officially out on Tuesday and ready for public consumption. Pick it up, if you haven’t already gotten your hands on the leaked version. Sarah McLachlan is also back with her first new music in seven years, Laws of Illusion, also out Tuesday.

Crush This: Drake's Album Is Finally Here, And The Jonas Brothers Return With 'Jonas L.A.'

Each week, the show will feature four different chefs, who “will hail from all walks of [life] — from restaurateurs to caterers to self-taught foodies,” Bravo explained. The show will consist of three rounds, with one chef being eliminated each round until one remains. In the first round, chefs will have to create their favorite dish for Rocco. After kicking off one contestant, he’ll announce the week’s dinner party theme, and the remaining chefs will cook him an appetizer and present a proposed menu. Only two chefs will go on to cook for the party, which will include some “influential tastemakers” as guests.

The winner will receive a cash prize, and the chance to hang out with Rocco, of course. Maybe they’ll even get a shot at their own reality show some day. Bravo sure does love culinary competition shows. But with Top Chef, Top Chef Masters and Chef Academy currently on the air, do we need more? Will you be watching?

This time of the year, the prime-time shows go into a repeat pattern and a lot of reality shows wind down. It’s because people tend to be very caught up in the holidays and end of year activities and don’t watch TV as much. Yes, we just started a new season of Secret Millionaire and Top Chef 5, but not much else is happening in the world of reality TV for the next couple of weeks.
