Hilary Duff was seen rehearsing, then potentially filming, some scenes with Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley yesterday in New York. Though Hilary wears the same outfit throughout, Penn changes his shirt, making me think perhaps this is the final outfit for the scene. Anyway, Hilary Duff is set to become romantically involved with Penn’s character, Dan Humphrey, on the series.

America’s Next Top Model host Tyra Banks will be joining Hilary Duff as a guest star on the Gossip Girl series this upcoming season.
According to EW, Tyra Banks will guest star in Gossip Girl as another actress alongside Hilary Duff. Hilary Duff plays actress Olivia Burke and Tyra will be her co-star in a film. She will appear in one episode with Hilary, the fourth episode of Gossip Girl, though Hilary has a multi-episode arc in the series.

Hilary Duff will be appearing in a multi-episode guest arc on CW’s hit Gossip Girl when it begins Season 3 this Fall. Hilary Duff’s first appearance on the series will be in the fourth episode, slated to air on October 5, 2009.

Hilary Duff’s guest appearance will air on April 10th, 2009 at 8pm on CBS. As previously mentioned, Hilary plays a “beautiful woman of mystery”, but now we know her name!

Hilary Duff in “Barely Legal”
It was announced in November that Hilary Duff had signed a contract with NBC to develop her own show. Hilary had the opportunity to sit down with writers and develop a show of her own choosing. That show has now been announced!
