10 Wonder Years Episodes To Cry To

10 Wonder Years Episodes To Cry To

Now that The Wonder Years is finally streaming on Netflix Instant, I am all smiles—well, some smiles, lots of tears. Because while the classic nostalgia-fest of a series is one of the greatest ever, it’s also one of the most poignant. Full disclosure: I have cried more at The Wonder Years than at any other TV show, ever. Kevin and Winnie and the lot are just really moving, especially for someone who grew up in the turbulent ‘60s. Which I didn’t, but I can imagine. More »

Zooey Deschanel’s Full Theme Song For ‘New Girl’ Not Great, Still Better Than ‘New Girl’

Zooey Deschanel's Full Theme Song For 'New Girl' Not Great, Still Better Than 'New Girl'

Even those who hate Zooey Deschanel‘s cloyingly “adorkable” onscreen persona must admit she’s a decent songwriter. She and Him, her band with M Ward, has put out consistently solid retro tinged pop records, proving her the exception to the rule that actors shouldn’t dabble in musical vanity projects. Which was why I was sort of interested to hear the full version of the theme song she wrote for New Girl, currently streaming over at Vulture. Could it be that something redeemable had come out of that painfully un-funny excuse for a sitcom? More »

Camp Week Video Gallery: The Best Camping Episodes from TV

Camp Week Video Gallery: The Best Camping Episodes from TV

Summer camp: It’s one of the greatest universal experiences for our generation, what with the adventure of going away from home for a week or two and all of the different people we meet. So it’s no surprise that TV shows jumped on the bandwagon to put their characters into the great outdoors. The characters from One Tree Hill, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Family Guy, and more bond, run from bears, lose weight, and hook up. Yep, sounds like camp to us. More »

Gallery: The Hot Guys From Retro TV Shows

We had so much fun (and controversy!) with last week’s “Hot Guys of Hard Sci-Fi and Fantasy” list that we decided to go in for round two. This time, the theme is “guys on TV you crushed on in middle school,” and our entries ranged from the obvious (Zack Morris and A.C. Slater no d’uh) to the bizarre (Ben Vareen on Zoobilee Zoo, which almost counts as a pre-furry obsession). Take a look, and if you really feel strongly about someone we didn’t include, tell us in the comments! More »

Video: Sarah Palin Rather Be On TLC Reality Show Than 'Stuffy Political Office'

Sarah Palin: well, at least she’s not a witch. She is however, an outdoorsy, folksy, down-to-earthy mommy who would rather do naturey things in Alaska with her family than hang out with all those boring politics people. She just needs time to clear her head, get away from it all, and have camera crews follow her around 24/7 for her new TLC reality show Sarah Palin’s Alaska before she makes the last minute decision that what she does indeed want is to run for president and sit in a stuffy political office all day. At least, that’s what we’re getting from this new trailer for her TV show. More »

Michael Cera’s List Of Cool Stuff

Michael Cera's List Of Cool Stuff

Someone had a conversation with perpetual emo boy Michael Cera in a coffee shop, and ended up getting a whole list of movies and TV shows recommended to him by the Scott Pilgrim star. And then, naturally, the list was posted online today (in Michael’s own scrawl! So cute!) I totally love that his favorite comedy is Wet Hot American Summer, because that’s my favorite comedy as well. Weirdly, I suddenly find myself wanting to hang out with Michael Cera…especially… More »

Were Cory and Topanga From 'Boy Meets World': The Best Part of the 90s? We Respectfully Disagree...

CollegeCandy has tallied up the results from their March Madness 90s, which is like regular March Madness except instead of basketball (it’s basketball, right? Or football? Whatever. Sports.) it’s 90s nostalgia. Beating out tough competition like beanie babies, My So-Called Life, and Zack Morris, the winner of March Madness was….Cory and Topenga from Boy Meets World? Wait, what? ‘My Boys’ Hates Women (And Humor)

'My Boys' Hates Women (And Humor)

Last night I watched the season premiere of My Boys on TBS. Now, before you go thinking that I do that sort of thing for fun – and by “that sort of thing” I mean immersing myself in the television equivalent of a hotel pool that smells of urine – let me make clear that money was involved. Enough money to justify DVR’ing Don Draper’s long-anticipated return to my Sunday nights? No, probably not. But masochism is a strange, strange… More »

Exclusive Fan Photo: FX's 'Lights Out' Films In Long Beach, NY

Last week, FX’s upcoming series Lights Out was filming for several days near Crushable HQ in New York. We spotted them filming scenes for the show, which focuses on the life of a former heavyweight boxing champ, in a boxing gym nearby.

But, according to a Crushable spy, the series also filmed for two days at Allegria Hotel in Long Beach, New York. Our tipster snapped this photo with the show’s stars Holt McCallany and The Wire’s Pablo Schreiber. Our… More »

Crushable’s Top Five ‘Glee’ Moments

Crushable's Top Five 'Glee' Moments

Thank God we finally got a Mercedes and Kurt episode on Glee last night (seriously, how do those two not have a show on Bravo?) as the glee club, and all the show’s characters, searched for a home, figuratively and literally. The musical numbers may have been so-so, but Quinn had a line or two, and we actually enjoyed the love affair between Kurt’s single dad and Finn’s single mom, although we did not like the way Finn’s bonding with… More »

Last night the second episode of CBS’ new series The Good Wife aired. The second episode involved Alicia (Julianna Margulies) taking on the case of a stripper who was raped at a bachelor party. This brings up, for her, a lot of associations with her husband, who had recently been exposed for sleeping with hookers. Alicia starts to suspect her husband and, perhaps finally, to not gloss over… More »

Todd Lowe guest starred in the episode as NCIS Special Agent Chad Dunham, an operative working in Chad, which gets the obvious quip of “Chad reporting from Chad” at one point in the episode. You can check out Todd’s appearance in this video segment, which comes mid-episode and about 1:45… More »
