Founder of the festival, Robert Redford, had a lot to say about the state of his fest, commenting that he felt it was “sliding” over the past few years in part due to the invasion of “ambush marketers who took over Main Street and the houses in the mountains, at three or four times [the normal price] to hand out their swag.” Uh oh!

He also didn’t have anything nice to say about Paris, commenting that, “You end up with Paris Hilton here who had nothing to do with us.”

Aw come on now Red. Can’t Paris Hilton enjoy movies just like everyone else? Do you guys think he’s being harsh or does he have a point?
