Most of the time, kids are told that cartoons and comics aren’t real. Luckily, some adults still don’t heed that childhood warning. Two men, who are producers of How Hard Can It Be?, Ben Bowie and Ian White, were inspired by the animated movie Up. They were curious to see if, like in the movie, it would be possible to “fly” a house. They discovered that flying a regular house was nearly impossible, but it would be possible to fly a very lightweight house. The men set a world record for longest balloon cluster flight ever attempted. Check out the video below.

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps On ‘Law & Order: SVU’: Not As Good As The Real Thing

It may be true that “money can’t buy you class.” But it can get you a stint on Law & Order.

Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, of Real Housewives of New York, guest-starred on last night’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Her character was a society woman with an interest in socializing and the finer things in life, and who has the hots for a younger man. (It must have been a real challenge to get into that character.)

But somehowa, LuAnn isn’t as good at acting like herself as she is on Real Housewives. Even though she looked, sounded, and acted just like her real self. She even called someone “darling” in the first minute. LuAnn also had a nude scene, where she posed for a painter (and yes, her goodies were covered). All this bravery and new penchant for trying new things makes me excited to see what happens with her on the upcoming Real Housewives of NYC season.

George Clooney‘s Italian girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis, gave an awesome live rendition of Ciara‘s “Like A Boy” on Italian TV Saturday Night. Her performance culminated the 61st Italian music festival in San Remo. If you had no idea she was a dancer, you’re not alone: most know her only as a model and actress, but she got her start as a dancer. Who knew? Check out the performance here:

Haylie Duff Celebrates a Birthday Soon!

The older sister of Hilary Duff, Haylie, will be turning 25 on February 19–just 10 days away from now! What do you think Haylie will be doing to celebrate? She is the older sister of Hilary, but the two may as well be twins. If you’ve seen the videos and photos we post then you’ll remember that each one of the beautiful sisters shows the strong bond they share. They’ve also performed together and Haylie wrote several songs for Hil’s albums, including the song Gypsy Woman. E! even has the two sisters ranked at number 2 as everyone’s favorite sisterly duo. Check out this awesome fan tribute that someome made for Haylie and let me know what you’ll be doing to help her celebrate her birthday!

Hilary Duff Cartoon Video

Check out this video of one person’s speed painting using Paint.NET. In the video, the artist draws Hilary and turns her into a cartoon. He even changes her hair from blonde to black! The artist admits this is a new medium for them so it isn’t perfect. We all know Hilary is a lot more beautiful than the final result, but I thought the video was pretty nifty! Do any of you guys do drawings like this of your favorite celebrities?
