George asked about the threesome that Hilary played out on Gossip Girl. Hilary said that the scene was mild but that she did kiss a girl, which was an awkward topic of conversation with her mother. She also spoke about her new film, According to Greta, which opens in theatres today.

When asked for some tips about “recession shopping”, Hilary shares that she wishes she could wear her clothes more often! She often falls in love with clothes she buys, but being a celebrity, she’s expected to go to events in new outfits all the time. One thing she does is try to make an outfit look different - something she thinks of as a fun challenge.

“I’m a big believer in accessorizing. A lot of my accessories are vintage… and some very inexpensive vintage. So, big earrings that I find that I love, that I really feel make an outfit, or change up my look without spending a lot of money, is a good way to go.”

Hilary shares that the first school in Bogota, in Bosa, will be feeding 3000 children each weekend. In another interview, Hilary shared that she’d like to return to Bogota, saying that she was inspired by the love of the fans she met there.

In Gossip Girl, Hilary Duff will guest star for 6 episodes as Olivia Burke, an actress looking for some down-to-earth experiences at college. She’ll be rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and will be romantically linked with Dan (Penn Badgley).

Hilary says Olivia has been in some big blockbuster movies – vampire movies! – and has led a lifestyle where everyone knows who she is. Olivia wants to trade it in for a more discreet lifestyle, though she’s having trouble doing that – her publicist won’t leave her alone, nor will the paparazzi!

Hilary says that Dan doesn’t know who Olivia is, and Olivia finds it refreshing that Dan likes her for her. Olivia even pretends to be someone else – saying she’s named Kate – but he catches her lying. He ends up at her movie premiere by chance, so it all falls apart.

Hilary says that Olivia has been stylish in the episode so far, but has been dressing down to be a bit more discreet. Of course, she does “glamorize” for the premiere of her movie.

Is Hilary a fan of the show? YES! Hilary says she Tivo’s it and has been a fan since the start of the show. When she was asked to be a part of the series, she of course said yes!

Over 45,000 people came out this morning for the largest AIDS fundraiser in the world. Aside from addressing the crowd before the walk began, and walking with her group, Hilary Duff was there to talk to reporters to help increase the awareness of the importance of everyone increasing their own education about HIV/AIDS.
