Getting engaged a week after your ex-husband sounds like a PR move. But paying for your own engagement ring just makes us sad for you, Jessica Simpson. The pop singer has had a hard time of things since splitting from husband (and reality show costar) Nick Lachey in 2005. But each new detail of her engagement this week makes it seem like a rash decision.
