]]> William Balfour has been indicted on the four counts he was charged with in sipaphotostwo204822-IL-WILLIAM-BALFrelation to the murders of American Idol finalist, Jennifer Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and nephew, 7-year-old Julian King.  A hearing is set for January 20, 2009.

Balfour has formally been charged with three counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion.  Personally, if he’s guilty, I hope he never gets out of prison.  The crime he committed was so heinous, particularly concerning the cold-blooded murder of that little boy. 

He has denied any involvement in the crimes.

]]> Police have formally arrested William Balfour, the brother-in-law of American Idol star, Jennifer Hudson, in connection with the murder of her mother and brother and seven-year-old nephew, Julian King. 

William, the estranged husband of Jennifer’s sister, Julia, was already in jail for a parole violation when he was charged.  Last month, it was discovered that he possessed a gun that matched the one used in crimes.  This story is so sad on so many different levels.  I hope the Hudson family can begin to find some peace in all of this sorrow.
