The other day I posted about the upcoming free JellyNYC shows happening at the Williamsburg Waterfront this summer (as opposed to McCarren Park Pool like the past few years). There have been some updates in the schedule recently.

Pool Parties Not At The Pool

Many hipsters are still mourning the “passing” of the free Jelly NYC Pool Parties at McCarren Park Pool in Williamsburg. The free concerts in the empty pool were some of the best parties in the previous summers, with artists like Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Breeders, and Spank Rock playing free shows there. Willamsburg Waterfront and Bruar Falls
There are two new music venues opening in Williamsburg. The first is Bruar Falls, a new bar/venue owned by the folks that own Cake Shop and Library Bar. It’s at 245 Grand St. in Williamsburg. They had a soft opening this weekend, but have a pretty full schedule coming up:
