Britney Spears’ Womanizer 4th out of 100 best videos of all time
Over at MuchMusic they put together a list of the 100 best videos of all time. Guess who showed up? Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” was the 4th best video ever according to the music channel.
She also popped up further down the list with “I’m A Slave 4 U”. I’m not sure how they decided, whether it was based on number of requests or their own picks, but congratulations Britney!

Britney Spears nominated for Grammy Award!
The 52nd Annual Grammy Awards are coming up fast and will be televised on January 31st. After the announcements were made, Britney Spears has been nominated for a Grammy for “Womanizer” in the “Best Dance Recording” category.
This is really exciting news! “Womanizer” was her first single off her “Circus” album so it’s perfectly fitting that it would be up for an award. Britney last won a Grammy in 2005 when she was nominated in the same category… More »
Britney Spears at the 2009 VMAs
Unfortunately, Britney Spears was not in attendance at the VMAs this year because she’s on tour but when she won for Best Pop Video for “Womanizer”, they did have a video clip of her accepting the award:
I love when Britney wins awards because she generally keeps it very short and to the point. I’m thrilled that she won this award because it shows how far she’s come and how hard she’s worked to get back on top.

Britney Spears fan “amused” by arrest
Kyle King, now infamous for rushing onstage to dance with Britney Spears, is seemingly rather amused by the whole – pardon the pun – media CIRCUS – surrounding the incident.
After being removed from the building by security, the fan was arrested for “breach of peace”. He was also charged for interfering with the police (which I presume means he was drunkenly resisting arrest) and was released after paying $250 bail on Sunday morning. Kyle will be facing a… More »
Britney Spears fan jumps on stage in Connecticut
While Britney Spears was performing “Womanizer” in Connecticut, someone in the crowd decided the dance routine looked like a lot of fun – a fan jumped onstage to get closer to Britney! Check it out!
That’s pretty crazy. Britney didn’t seem bothered and just kept going, as did her dancers, and the fan was escorted off the stage really quickly. It could have been scary though!… More »
Britney Spears performs Womanizer live in Japan
Britney Spears has been having a great time in Japan, eating Sushi, visiting Japan’s oldest Buddhist temple, checking out the culture and nightlife, and of course performing!
Britney performed “Womanizer” live at Hey Hey Hey, and I think it’s one of her best performances since she started promoting her new album. She seems very comfortable on stage again, not as nervous or tense as she was the last few times.

Britney’s “Womanizer” gets a British Invasion from Lily Allen
Lily Allen is obviously a Britney Spears fan – the British singer did a cover version of Womanizer and although I still love the original, her version is not bad at all.
It’s slowed down a bit, but what I love most is her fabulous British accent when she sings.
