According to Zap2It.com’s Korbi TV, Zac will play none other than….himself! The episode filmed at a Beverly Hills Niketown boutique this morning. “Entourage” returns to HBO July 12.

Zac was seen posing with the show’s star Jeremy Piven and a little girl. He also shook hands with a brunette and stretched his back showing off his undies and muscles. LOL.

Recently is was announced that Zac had pulled out of doing a “Footloose” remake. He didn’t want to be known just as the song and dance man and is looking at other projects.

The film still doesn’t have a star to replace him, but it does have a date. You can see someone get “Footloose” on June 18, 2010. Right now, rumor has it the two guys vying for the role are Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford and Dancing With the Stars‘ Derek Hough.

It was big news last week when it was announced that Zac would not be starring in the remake of “Footloose”. In Las Vegas over the weekend, where Zac was receiving the Showest Breakthrough Performer of the Year award, he spoke to EW about his decision.

“I’m sure Footloose would have been a huge challenge, but the actors that I love and the actors that work really hard in this industry are always shaking things up, trying new genres, acquiring new skill sets. That’s what’s always going to appeal to me: the unknown.”

What does this mean for the past High School Musical star? He’s reuniting with with 17 Again director Burr Stears to play a young man who takes a job as a cemetery caretaker where his younger brother has recently been buried in The Death & Life of Charlie St. Cloud.

I was very disappointed when I heard that Zac changed his mind about Footloose, but I can definitely see the reasoning behind the decision. He wants to take his career in a different more serious direction and there is nothing wrong with that!

Zac Efron arrives solo at LAX on Monday (March 9). The “17 Again” star is heading off to Australia to promote his new movie, which arrives in theaters here in the U.S. on April 17th. The Australian premiere is March 11th.

The film is “about a guy whose life didn’t quite turn out how he wanted it to and wishes he could go back to high school and change it. He wakes up one day and is seventeen again and gets the chance to rewrite his life.”

On March 15th, Zac will be appearing on the Australian talk show Rove, along with Russell Brand. When Russell is involved, things always get interesting!

Take a look at this shot of Zac Efron doing a sexy hair toss. He was leaving his Los Angeles home yesterday (March 5) morning and the paparazzi caught him in a hair commercial type moment.

In other Zac news, a couple of months ago, some pictures emerged of Zac and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens posing with fans in a supposed sex shop. Zac clarified the pictures in the April issue of Elle magazine.

He said, “It was Hallows Eve like, two years ago. It was just a costume store. In the back they have an adult section for adult costumes. And this nice older woman asked for a photo.”

Zac’s fans weren’t the only ones confused by the photos. When his mom saw them, she was wondering what the heck her son was up to!

“My mom is like, ‘Zac, what did you buy in a sex shop?’ I was like ‘Mom, calm down, it’s not a sex shop.’ She wouldn’t have any of it. She’s like, ‘I knew you were being sexual!’ ” he admitted to Elle. “But she understood. My stocking was full of condoms this Christmas. She buys me the economy box.”

Okay, it’s kind of weird that his mom bought him a box of condoms for Christmas. At least they’re close! Very funny story.

It was announced the other day that Zac Efron would be presenting an award at the 81st Academy Awards. There’s also a rumor going around that he and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens will be performing up on stage with Hugh Jackman, Beyonce and others. Could it be true? I think we will have to watch the show to find out for sure. It almost sounds too weird to be true!

Zac was spotted last night at a pre-Oscar party, but he was solo as far as I can tell. Other Hollywood hunks that were spotted at the same party were Ricky Martin, Daniel Craig, Chace Crawford, Matthew Broderick and Josh Harnett.

Zac Efron

With some beefed up security, Zac and Vanessa boarded a boat in Brazil for a photo shoot with Brazil’s top celebrity magazine Caras. The magazine rented the entire island of Angra dos Reis in order to keep the shoot private from paparazzi. Smart move!

Not only did they rent out the island, but they had umbrellas that were constantly being positioned for the utmost privacy. I can not wait to see this super secret magazine shoot!

Zac Efron showed up at LAX today (February 3) wearing a signature Fedora hat. We just saw his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens wearing one the other day! They may share styles of accessories, but not the same decorating styles.

TV host and Los Angeles interior designer Kenneth Brown is designing Zac and Vanessa’s separate houses and according to him, their styles are completely opposite.

He said, "If they ever get married, they’ll have to have separate houses. He’s very modern and she’s very traditional”.

Interesting! I imagine that’s something they can work through. More pictures of Zac Efron below. I wonder where he’s going?

Yesterday was Zac Efron’s girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, 20th birthday. It appears that Zac was a good BF and brought Vanessa some flowers and a large gift. How sweet.

After the pair had lunch at Stanley’s, they went back to Vanessa’s place to spend some alone time. Hopefully the paparazzi left them alone and didn’t wait outside her house. Yeah, I know. I’m sure they did.

Zac Efron and Vanessa will be heading to Japan next week to promote "High School Musical 3". Zac also has a new movie coming out on April 17, 2009 called "17 Again". I have a feeling Zac will not be hurting for movie roles for a long long time.
